How to Make Your 2026 Getaway Real
Wow — thank you for all the love, replies, and comments about when you’d like to visit. Full moon friends, I see you. Firefly chasers and peony lovers, too. I can’t wait to welcome you for birthdays, anniversaries, solo retreats, and long-overdue pauses.
Here’s the big news: Thursday 10/16 at 7:00 PM Eastern, our 2026 calendar opens exclusively for email subscribers. You’ll have 24 hours of early access before we announce to our 10K+ Instagram followers.
With only May–October available, and weekends + holidays going first, this is your chance to make it real. Instead of hoping for rest or adventure “someday,” you’ll know it’s already on the calendar.
Since 2017, I’ve hosted hundreds of guests here at Tanglebloom Cabin. We’ve been featured in Dwell, Travel + Leisure, BuzzFeed, and hold a 5-star rating across platforms. But more important than press? The real stories:
🌟 “I feel like myself again.” – Bridget
🌟 “Our stay was nothing short of perfect rejuvenation.” – Carter
🌟 “This place is fantastic, and gave my wife and me exactly the unplugged vacation that we needed to connect back with nature and with each other.” – Brad
A Few Quick Answers
Can I book direct? Nope — for simplicity and safety, we use Airbnb or Hipcamp.
Can I check in on Saturday? Weekend stays start Friday, but our Slow Sundays Special gives you until 2 PM to check out when you book before 10/20.
What if I don’t have a car? Book before 10/20 and we’ll include round-trip transportation from the Brattleboro VT Amtrak (20 mins away), only for email subscribers. Brattleboro is also served by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Can I surprise my partner? Yes — but make sure it’s their dream too! (Most of our guests can’t imagine a better birthday than soaking in a wood-fired hot tub under the trees — but it’s not for everyone.)
Can I bring my pet / child? We love dogs and kids (and have both) — but for everyone’s safety, the tiny cabin and our working farm is not suitable for visiting animals or children under 14, and has a max. occupancy of 2 people sharing one bed.
What if I’ve never camped before? No worries! Many of our guests are “camping curious” or simply want a break from dealing with the hassle of tents and gear. We provide everything from bedding and towels, to dishes and river chairs. To make it even easier, we send you a suggested list of items to pack before your stay.
What happens if it rains? While we can’t guarantee clear skies, most guests find that rainy days are a secret favorite: Think relaxing to raindrops on the roof with a steaming mug of tea and nowhere else to be; or exploring local bookstores, antique shops, and cafes.
How far away is Vermont? Tanglebloom is located in southeastern Vermont, just 20 minutes north of the artsy town of Brattleboro, served by Amtrak and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Just a 2.5 hour drive from Boston, 3.5 hours from New York City, and 4.5 hours from Montréal. 1.5 hours from Bradley International Airport (BDL) and 2.5 hours from Logan International Airport (BOS). We can’t wait to welcome you!
Imagine this: It’s the middle of winter, the days are grey and slushy, and then you remember — you already have a June getaway on the books during peak peony bloom.
Or picture yourself handing your partner a wrapped Vermont hiking guide over the holidays, because their fall foliage dream trip is finally happening.
Thursday 10/16, I’ll send the booking link to your inbox right at 7:00 PM ET.
Special perks for email subscribers who book before 10/20/25:
The first 3 reservations will receive a Vermont goodie bag at check-in ($50 value).
Slow Sundays: Sunday departures enjoy a late check-out of 2:00 PM.
No car? No problem! Round-trip Amtrak transportation included, just let us know in your booking message.
After 24 hours, dates are announced to the public and our 10K+ Instagram followers.
